Through Cole not Dole I have read an article from this month’s Progress Magazine on the situation of the Labour Party. With a greater articulation of the argument (one of the many reasons why I wouldn’t be a journalist), they have come to the same conclusion that I have in this blog (hence the title for this entry).

Labour, they argue, has left behind its aspirational rhetoric in Crewe and Nantwich to return to old-school (and fatal) class-war rhetoric. They believe change will come from policy and that if it is not done soon the idea of a ‘loser Labour’ will get rooted in the electorate’s mind and that will be the tipping point for a Tory victory. Well, I’m just glad someone is saying it out loud.
